Eligibility Criteria

 Age Limit: The candidates must not be less than 25 years of age as on 01/01/2026.

Nationality: Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/ she seeks appointment.
 
Property: Candidate should have land or immovable property in his/ her name in the area in which he/ she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.

Children: Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partner. Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/ multiple partner.
 
Government Employee: The candidate should not be a government employee.

Political Party: The candidate should not be a member of any political party.

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed 10th standard or matriculation from a recognized institution or board.

Physical Fitness: Candidate should be physically fit and have sound mind.

Insolvency: Candidate should not have been declared as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt. dues.

How to Apply for Golaghat Recruitment?

Candidates must submit their application in the Assam Gazette Standard form of application within stipulated date. Candidates need to submit their filled in application at the RKG Branch of Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Dergaon Co-District, Golaghat.
